New Trading Card Art
I've been pretty busy lately, gathering my bearings at my new job. However, I have been slowly chipping away at my commissions when I'm not at my day job. I have a couple more trading card pieces I am scheduled to do, before I finish up a piece of line art, before picking back up the trading card designs. Baseball season is coming.

In Progress Trading Cards
I'm at it again. Jet City Saber Guild for the last 3 years has supported both the Everett Aqua Sox, and Tacoma Rainiers for their Star Wars day at the park. And each year, I knock out as many trading cards as possible, so that we can hand them out to the fans. Everyone loves them at conventions, birthday parties, or just trading with each other in the Star Wars Costuming and Cosplay communities.
Just a preview of what my workspace in
Photoshop looks like when I'm grinding these out as fast as I can.

Hubba Hubba, Busy Busy.
So lately, I've been working on many things at once. If you follow my Facebook Fan Page, you might have seen my recent post:
"I realize a lot of you who are recently visiting my fan page, are looking for my Emerald City Comicon 2017 photos. I am currently working on them, and have been for quite some time.
I recently got a new job in the Cannabis Industry, and am juggling these photo edits with the job, and my pending art commissions. Which is why the delay is really long.
As a way of saying thank you for your patience, I'll be going back to many of these images and doing my style of photo-manipulation. Much like the trading card art I have been doing for Jet City Saber Guild and Saber Guild these last 3 years. I've been meaning to branch out side of the Star Wars themes for the sake of variety."
I realize I have so many pending projects. My commissions, and new job take precedence for obvious reasons. I'm debating on many extra curricular things in my life, as I really want to branch out and express my own art, rather than showcasing others through my lens. I might be taking a break from cosplay for some time. It depends on how I feel in the next few months after baseball season (prime time for Saber Guild exposure and shows.)

"Ohbee Connobee"
So I got a chance to do a trading card featuring, what we like to call a "face character" in the Star Wars costuming community. This just means it's basically the trademarked face of a starring character in the Star Wars films, such as Mark Hamill's face as Luke Skywalker, or in this case Obi-Wan Kenobi. The whole "typecasting" thing. Anyways, I rambled more than I wanted. The cool guy featured here, is Timothey Adam, he helped me with the cards.

ECCC Trading Card Run
Hello everyone!
So far, I've managed to knock out a bunch of cards in less than 2 weeks, with the help of Timothy Adam, and Sarah Florian assisting me with the cut outs. It really shaves my work time in half, so I have more time to experiment with new techniques to accommodate for CMYK print limitations. Below are the web RGB versions of the cards. It's the full card that gets sent to print, so you can some what see where the bleed lines might be in some of them.

New Year, New Me
