Ghost and Fett UV Painting Progress

Still a work in progress. But when I was mixing florescent and glow acrylics together for the the Pacman Ghost named Inky (the cyan one), I made way too much, and had to quickly find a way to salvage the mix because neon/UV active and glow acrylics are really expensive. Wasting it would break my heart... so I quickly found line art of Boba Fett, traced and transfered it to a new canvas, and began boxing in the highlights. I have many layers to go on this. Far from done.

Current UV Paint

I have been itching to do some traditional art for months now. Since finals are over, I can get back to experimenting with UV active paints and blacklights. Hopefully my airbrush kit will come in the mail, so I can further this new and exciting experimental expression (to me anyways.) But until I receive it, I will be working on these ghosts here. This is just one of the many projects I want to knock out during Spring Break.

New Jet City Saber Guild Trading Cards!

This new Jet City Saber Guild trading card series, I worked on has been released. I am quite proud of working on this for my teammates and peers, knowing they are happy with it, makes me happy. Photos are from various photographers including myself, Suspi PhotographyLumonic•Photo. The card template was created by Rubin Polizzi and the Temple Logo by Derek Hidalgo. Edits are of course, by me. (Trivia- I'm Darth Imogen)
Come to one of our shows and our booth with 501st and Rebel Legion at this year's Emerald City Comicon, raising money for Seattle's Children's Hospital.

Can you collect them all?

Fighting Game Concept

One of the finals I have been working on the last couple of weeks. I plan on making this a real fighting game, featuring members of the Jet City Saber Guild (a non profit organization that specializes in lightsaber fight choreography) in iconic locations around Seattle, where we are based at.

This short animation is just a concept of what I want to do. Not very refined, as I had very limited time to complete this in, as you can tell with only 2 fights who both only have 2 images for the sprite movement. However, I am currently looking for a team to work on this. Perhaps this will be one of the projects I get to lead during mod team I and II.

JCSG Photo Edits from Dec 2015

Hello All!

It's been far too long since I've updated this blog. It's because I have been really busy doing a lot of things. One of those reasons, I'm about to showcase in this post. So I am a member of the Jet City Saber Guild here in Seattle, WA. We were asked by the Pacific Science Center (PSC) if we could provide a performance for the opening night of Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens. And we of course said, "YES!" These photos are from our promotional video shoot for PSC as well as for the local news KOMO (you can find that video segment here.) One of our Guild members (Suspi Photography) was awesome enough to take still photos during this time, and I got my hands on them to edit. I had so much fun doing it too, especially the animated one of me fighting (a happy accident at first.) It was really exciting to actually edit some photos of my costumed friends, something I want to do more of.
